Perinatal Support Alliance Offerings
The Perinatal Support Alliance is proud to support individuals and families in the community through the Rooted Beginnings Warm Line and Support Group. The Rooted Beginnings name came from the desire to highlight the deep roots of connection that allow us all to thrive in our role in the transformation to and as caregivers to young children.
The Rooted Beginnings Support group is a supportive group for parents, parents-to-be and those that support parents with a focus on attending to the unique challenges that these roles impose. This will be a safe place to share your experiences and hear from others that are in various but likely similar places of challenge. Groups will be facilitated by a compassionate professional each time.
Our group will be meeting in person in the Thirlby Room at the Traverse Area District Library in Traverse City. This will take place on the second Tuesday of the month. We will continue to be available on Tuesday mornings to return emails, support by doing short term consultations and use this time for continued advocacy for Perinatal Mental Health needs within and across our community.
